12:30 - arrival to Kiermusy

12:30-14:30 - welcome and integration lunch - unofficial opening of WSIC

14:30 - departure from Kiermusy to Biebrza National Park headquarters in Osowiec

15:30 - arrival to Osowiec

15:30-18:30 - official opening of the WSIC, including:

15:30 - 16:15 - general subject introductory: key-note lecture: Wetlands: what, why, how, when, what for...?

16:30 - 17:15 - general introductory to the WSIC in the Biebrza valley:
lecture: Why WSIC in the Biebrza valley?

17:30 - 18:15 - general introductory to the area: lecture: Miraculous Biebrza National Park (by BNP managing director Mr Adam Sieńko)

during breakes - organizational and technical kick-off; handing out materials etc.

18:30 - departure from Osowiec

18:45 - arrival to Goniądz and accommodation at the Bartek pension

19:30 - dinner

Day Two - Tuesday (27.06.)

9:00 - departure to the field trip: "Górny Basen"
Time: up to 6.5 hours (including 3.5 hours of driving and 1 hour lunch break)
