“Protective treatments for non-forest ecosystems” Database

Contents of the database

The database is adapted to storage of information concerning executed and planned protective treatments for non-forest ecosystems. It contains data about individual plant community on level, which the treatment planned. Modules for protective treatments registration, assumes that measurements can be do by GPS equipment and transferred to the database directly.

Occurrence and format of spatial information in the database

Data stored in the database are coupled with ArcView format files (.shp), which contain spatial information concerning all plants community.

Number of objects and size of database file

At present the database contains descriptions of about 6902 plant communities and takes up approx. 4MB of hard-disk space.
