"Forest" Database

Contents of the database

The database contains information on forest subsections located in the area of the Biebrza National Park and its protection zone. It includes data on geographical location of forest sections and subsections, valuation descriptions, information on gaps as well as on planned and performed agricultural treatment.

Occurrence and format of spatial information in the database

Data stored in the database are coupled with ArcView format files (.shp), which contain spatial information concerning all forest subsections.

Number of objects and size of database file

At present the database contains descriptions of about 4400 forest subsections and takes up approx. 5MB of hard-disk space.
