"Fauna" database

Contents of the database

This database is adapted for storing historical information on location, number and living environment of vertebrates and invertebrates. It contains also information characterising species as far as relation to the human kind, zoography and ecological classification is concerned.
 

Occurrence and format of spatial information in the database

The spatial information occurs in the form of the x, y coordinates and the "magazine of identifying labels of grids" 50m x 50m.

Number of objects and size of database file

At present the database contains information about 1487  places being visible species,  and takes up approx. 16 MB of hard-disk space.
