Measurement campaign 2004

Measurement campaign will be organized between 3^rd and 8^th of May in Goniadz- Biebrza National Park. Teams from collaborating universities RUG, VUB, AU, UU, WAU will continue their measurements and exchange of ideas on :

1. Hydrodynamics and sedimentation
2. Use of the hydraulic control structures for measurements
3. Impact of the water plants on hydrometry
4. Nutrient budget
5. Combine use of GPS, RS and GIS

Plans include:

• measurements of river slopes
• measurements of river bed cross sections
• depth measurements with echosounder
• quantity and quality measurements of surfacewaters and groundwaters
• plant communities research
• geodetic measurements
• hydrometric measurements
